Itinerary
Your adventure begins at Tromsø, where you’ll be greeted and whisked away to your floating home for the week — a 22m Garcia sailboat. After settling into your cosy cabin, you’ll meet the crew and participate in essential safety briefings. As the sun dips below the horizon, we’ll sail through the Grøtsund, heading towards the Ullsfjord. The journey offers a glimpse of the stunning fjords and peaks that await you, setting the stage for the upcoming days.
Each day offers a new skiing adventure tailored to provide the best experience possible. Our IFMGA-certified mountain guides, with over a decade of experience in the Lyngen Alps, will select the day’s location based on optimal snow and weather conditions. You can expect to ski for 4 to 8 hours daily, covering ascents ranging from 4 to 9 km. The peaks vary in height, from 800 to 1,500m, offering a mix of slope angles and terrains.
One day might find yourself skiing down glacier plateaus with angles below 30 degrees, and the next, you could be navigating through deep powder in steeper gorges. The sailboat allows us to be flexible, reaching different anchorages within 1 to 3 hours, so every day is a unique experience.
As the sun rises on your final day, we’ll make our way back to Tromsø. It’s a time for goodbyes and reflecting on an unforgettable week of skiing, sailing, and camaraderie. Once we reach the port, you’ll disembark, taking with you not just your gear but also memories that will last a lifetime.
